AT 4: Blood Mountain/Mountain Crossings

Rained all night long, then stopped just right for hiking out.

The climb up Blood Mountain was good hiking. There’s a neat stone shelter on top. Views could’ve been better. The climb down was treacherous, even without rain.

Did the four miles to Mountain Crossings with Bret and Mark, where we parted ways for now. Thanks again for your company!

Decided to give my foot some more rest and get warm food in my belly, and booked into the hostel at Mountain Crossings. Either American frozen pizzas are better than the ones at home or my standards went down considerably. First shower since Wednesday morning.
