A chill hike on the map, which doesn’t show all the rocks and roots on the trail. Wasn’t so chill on the hills. The Georgia sun sure has some heft to it.

Came down another steep hill to the Hostel Around The Bend, which is a big step up from the Neel Gap hostel. May be the best hostel in existence.

Washed clothes, got loaner clothes, and a shuttle into Hiawassee for resupply and fast food. Got 1300 calories at Zaxby’s, which I didn’t even know before.

Bought a stylish new bum bag and a replacement dry bag at the on site outfitter.
