Lost our German mate Tim due to cellphone-related business (he’s gotta find it or buy a new one).

Did 11.8 miles to Muskrat Creek Shelter, crossed into NC, saw a big old rattlesnake right on trail. Weather is good right now, but is expected to get wetter/colder the next days.
