Woke up to the sound of rain on the shelter roof. Very cozy. Getting up wasn’t as cozy.

When we headed out, the rain had stopped and all that remained was heavy fog. Not bad hiking weather. At noon the sun did come out, which was a welcome sight

Climbed Standing Indian Mountain, had good views.

Got to Carter Gap Shelter where Tim did appear later on, with a brand new cellphone.

Temperature will get down to freezing tonight, so everybody is sleeping with their water filter and electronics. In the shelter we will be guarded by Truffles the dog.
