Night wasn’t as cold as expected. Got up at six to get to the shuttle pickup point to Franklin in time.

Got into town, and stored our packs at the Outdoor 76 gear shop for the day. Resupplied at Dollar General/Ingles. Had lunch/beer at the Lazy Hiker Company.

Went back to the the trail via shuttle, and hiked some more to Siler Bald Shelter.

Pack is considerably more heavy after resupply. Will have to eat more to get the weight down. Hopefully this will get us to the Smokies in a few days time.
