The tent held, the clothes didn’t dry overnight. Started the day with a wet outfit. That’s what I signed up for, but not too pleasant anyways. At least the rain stopped.

First half of the day was a bit gloomy and wet, which brought the salamanders out. Hiking was good, on pine needle trails, bushes starting to flower, above the clouds.

Came into Hot Springs at around noon and checked into the Laughing Heart Hostel. Sun came out, so we dried out the tents. Went to the local diner for lunch, did a mini resupply (milk, cereal for the day).

In the evening we met up with Cambio and his dad, Turmeric returned their electronics bag, had some beers and S’mores. In bed late, as tomorrow we’ll take a zero (again).
