AT 61: Blue Ridge Parkway

Left Survivor’s house reluctantly. He shuttled us back to the Daleville trailhead and we were on our way.

First few miles out of town felt sluggish and slow. Got better once we got up and out of the humidity.

Passed the 1/3rd marker today. Getting closer to Katahdin!

Got trail magic from Don The Appleman, then hiked on to Bobblets Gap Shelter. Walked mostly along the Blue Ridge Parkway, a tourist road with good views of the mountains/valleys.

A lot of trash cans there for the car tourists, which is always welcome.
