Started at the Route 60 trailhead, where we got peaches from a cat lady searching for her lost 21st cat.
A long ascent up the mountain, then more chill terrain.
Got chased down the mountain by a thunderstorm at 2 PM, which we waited out huddling under an umbrella. Hail, lightning, pouring rain. Went as fast as it came in, so half an hour later we hiked on.
Sun came out, haze in the air is gone.
Ended the day pretty early at the Seely Woodworth Shelter and had a relaxed dinner.
