The last full day before resupply/a hostel stay. We did plan big miles for today to get into town early tomorrow.
Being low on food, trail magic by Holy Roller and Tuna at noon came in exceptionally handy. They did go big and got burgers, chips, fruit and then some. The homemade banana pudding was to die for. I even got to pack out some of it in a Talenti jar for tomorrow.
Saw a Copperhead on trail for the first time.
As a afternoon pick me up we got some random Little Debbie products from two dayhikers who we met at a parking area.
Came into camp late, heard some bears rustling around. Had a chill night in one of the nicer shelters out there. With 22.2 miles our longest day yet.
