Last day in Shenandoah. Started late, Turmeric wasn’t feeling very fit in the morning. Did put in the miles though.

A rainstorm caught us around noon and lasted for an hour, then the weather got better. Stopped for late lunch, after which we caught a second wind. Weather got outright nice.

Got peach tea from a guy doing trail magic at the road crossing into Front Royal. After that two hours left to the Jim and Mollie Denton Shelter.

Nicest shelter ever. Porch, dining gazebo, flowers, and a shower. Shared the shelter just with Buckeye Boy. Few people tenting/hammocking as well.
