Another batch of pancakes in the morning.

Got into Harper’s Ferry to get into the ATC visitor center and get our pic taken. Went from hiker #2476 in Amicalola down to #1121 in Harper’s Ferry. Strange that so many people haven’t arrived/checked in here (yet).

Got new shoes at the outfitter. Switched from Lone Peak 6s to the 7s. Let’s see how this goes.

Shuttled back to the hostel with the Rollercoaster’s own Trailboss himself. Told us that prior to the construction of the Rollercoaster there was a 13 mile stretch of roadwalking. Kind of makes the experience more bearable in hindsight.

Buckeye Boy’s foot is kinda shot. He can’t walk more than a few yards. May have to see someone medically qualified for this eventually.

We decided to stay for a little longer and try to get into DC on the Fourth. In the afternoon I got to do some digital chores and called home after having not done so for a long time.

Dinner today was pasta and veggies again, did eat all of my cheese out of my bear can with it.
