Quick starter hike out of Cross Trails. Slackpacked about nine miles, then back to the hostel again. Hiking without Buckeye Boy feels weird.

Started at the Potomac on a nice, flat section; then up into the woods again. Ended the hike at Gathland State Park, then shuttled back with Benny.
