We’ll have to leave Buckeye Boy for the next few weeks. His foot is not usable yet, so he will stay at the hostel for a while. Sad times.

After saying our farewells we shuttled back to Gathland and hiked on.

Getting really hot and humid right now. Stopped for lunch at one of the state run campsites for shade and water. Met Airquotes again, who did go off trail for July 4th as well.
