Got up very early to beat the heat. Got our first 10 miles before noon. Very exciting! To celebrate that, we did just three miles more and stayed at the Thru It All Ministries. Had a new tent there waiting for us; gonna join the Dyneema gang!

Before getting there, we got some smoked meat sandwiches from a local BBQ joint.

Did a Walmart resupply, where we got fleece blankets for the summer. Let’s see if the $3 throw blanket works out…

Dinner at Dairy Queen, then we reorganized packs and shipped our tents and sleeping bags to Utah for the summer.

Bunks were all occupied, so we slept in the church’s children’s room.
