Turns out, the package had never been delivered to the outfitter. There go our plans of hiking out of town at 10, or even today.

After a lot of waiting and a final visit at the post office we got the package finally and headed back to the church.

After removing, rebending, reinserting the stays of Turmerics backpack we decided it was too late to hike out and would stay for another night. Hopefully the pack will be fixed and doesn’t have to be replaced.

Washed my clothes in the shower in preparation for a longer stretch without a hostel stay.

The plan for tomorrow is to get up before 6 AM and hike out early.
