Decided to go check out Turmeric’s foot today. Shuttled into town with the hostel, got breakfast, picked up Turmeric’s resupply boxes and both our sleeping bags from the post office.

Buckeye drove us from there to the next in-network Urgent Care, which was a forty minute drive. Turned out better than expected; the doc told Turmeric that while it may hurt, it is not broken, but a contusion; and she can basically hike on it. Should get a treatment of RICE though.

Picked up some Ibuprofen and resupply on our way back, then stayed the rest of the day at the hostel icing the foot, and reorganizing the resupply boxes.

In the evening went out on a quick grocery run to a local creamery, which had delicious ice cream.
