Buckeye is feeling better, so we decided to leave the car at Pokey’s, who offered his garage for a few weeks.

Got all the resupply items out of the car, repackaged everything, and shipped it either ahead or back to Utah.

Got a late breakfast at 1:30 PM (large pancakes, Vermont Maple Syrup, omelet, potatoes, toast, hot chocolate) with Buckeye and Maggs.

Went back to the trailhead, where we said farewell to Buckeye. He will stash the car in the next few days, then shuttle north, and get slowly on trail again till we catch up.

Hiked 1.6 miles out of town, and stayed in the Melville Nauheim Shelter. Maggs, Psyop, and Andrea, a German Long Trail hiker there as well.
