AT 128: Fresh Mud

Started raining at 6:30 and did so for 2 hours. Waited in the shelter for it to stop, then headed out.

With fresh mud under/all around our feet the day was a long one. Climbed Stratton Mountain just in time to see some bad weather moving in; decided to move on real quick.

Got overtaken by Corndog, who we hadn’t seen in a while. Passed the 3/4 marker. Stayed in the William Douglas Shelter for the night, which we had to our own with together with Maggs.

Pokey shuttled Buckeye to Manchester Center today, where he hiked out of and is ahead of us a bit. Turmeric’s car is at Pokey’s for the rest of the hike now.
