Got up and got some nice breakfast from Wren. Managed to stay until about noon, then back on trail and into town.

It’s new shoe day today! The old ones had 729 trail miles on them (and a few tens of non trail miles as well). Hope the new ones will last to the end.

Did resupply at CVS and co-op, where we met Foxtrot and Iroh. Went on and scoped out Buckeyes setup, who had put up tent in the woods behind the Dartmouth sportsball fields.

Hiked 11 easy miles to Moose Mountain Shelter, which is packed full for a change. Tomorrow will be a day with a lot of elevation change, so we went to bed early.
