No famous climbs today, but really good views of famous things. Started the day with a climb down a literal waterfall; trails here can be really unreasonable.
Got a bowl of scrambled eggs in exchange for sweeping the floor at Galehead Hut, got some cake there, and hot chocolate.
Then up South Twin, from where Franconia Ridge, Mount Washington, and the rest of the Whites were all clearly visible. Much warmer and less windy today.
Then down again, and to Zealand Hut, where we got Chicken Soup and bread for first dinner.
Camped at Ethan Pond Shelter, where we just catched the sunset above the lake.
