Hot outside, even in the early morning. Did Mount Moriah in foggy but warm weather, then a sunny flat section to Route 2. Almost got heat stroke; was getting brain foggy already. After two liters of water and home made beef jerky from a weekender the heat stroke was a thing of the past.

Got to the 1900 mile marker around noon. Only 300 to go!

Passed by a dam, where Buckeye, Toto, and Mudbag were fishing and in the water; stayed there for a bit.

Hiked on to Trident Col Campsite, ate fancy camping meals, then off to bed.
