Last significant mountain in the wilderness coming up today. Was an easier one, were on White Cap before noon.

Got our first view of Katahdin from there. Looks like a big one. Extremely faint in the haze though. Walked here all the way from Georgia, and now we’ll be there in a few days.

Got down from the mountain and into the plains, climbed another smaller hill. Set up tent at Crawford Pond, ate dinner on the beach, then to bed early.

Tomorrow we’ll get our food drop from Shaw’s at 11 AM, then the last stretch to Katahdin begins.
