Woke up late to escape the rain, which was supposed to end noonish. The plan worked out, and after a DD breakfast we hit the trail at around noon to just a light sprinkling. Trail conditions after the rain last night are meh. A lot of mud due to minimal trail maintenance, no functional water

AT 123: Halfway Up Mount Greylock

Turmeric’s foot did feel good in the morning, so we headed out on trail again. Packed our stuff and left the Zero Day Hostel with Buckeye. Slackpacked the first eight miles into Cheshire, got rained on briefly, then Buckeye met us there. Pokey was there as well and got us sandwiches, fruit juice and Gatorade.
