AT 160: Kennebec

Woke up with condensation in the tent and wet quilts. Got up, crossed our first creek of the day (water up to knees). Got into Pierce Pond Camp, where there was coffee and a wood stove. Dried out stuff, charged up a little, then on to the Kennebec. Majorly sketchy creek crossings after the rain,

AT 159: Into Rain

Rain stopped in the morning, packed up, got trail magic for breakfast. While drinking coffee, a moose walked past. Now that’s a nice beginning of the day. Hiked on, now on the flatter part of the Maine section of the trail. Rained on and off the whole day, so the trail got muddier and muddier.

AT 157: Hurricane Watch
