Did a short day to Standing Bear Farm. Almost just descent today, coming down from the smokies. Did a short side trail to Mt Cammerer Lookout Tower for the views, which were well worth the extra miles.

Heat in the afternoon after getting down below 2000 ft. Lush greens and humidity again.

Met Mississippi Guy (for the 6th time probably), who met up with his support crew (his wife) and organized some trail magic. Fruit and cold, sugary drinks. Hikers know best what hikers need. Thanks guys!

Very nice accommodation. Sharing a cabin with Tim, Robin, Turmeric, Cambio and Darth. Ate a big pizza on arrival and then a big dinner right afterwards. Washed clothes, relaxed on the porch, sat around the campfire for the evening (without puffy!).

Happy to get out of the Smokies before the weather turns, enjoying the warm temperatures again.
